Evening remembrance — bearing witness to Allah ﷻ
اللَّهُـمَّ إِنِّـي أَمْسَـيْتُ أُشْـهِدُكَ، وَأُشْـهِدُ حَمَلَـةَ عَـرْشِكَ، وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ، وَجَمِـيعَ خَلْـقِكَ، أَنَّـكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْـدَكَ لَا شَـرِيكَ لَكَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّـدًا عَبْـدُكَ وَرَسُـولُكَ (أربع مرات)
Allāhumma innī amsaytu ušhiduk, wa ušhidu ḥamalata ‘aršik, wa malā’ikatak, wa jamī‘a khalqik, annaka anta llāhu lā ilāha illā ant waḥdaka lā šarīka lak, wa anna muḥammadan ‘abduka wa rasūluk. (four times)
Translation
O Allaah ﷻ, verily I have reached the evening and call on You, the bearers of Your throne, Your angels, and all of Your creation to witness that You are Allaah ﷻ, none has the right to be worshipped except You, alone, without partner, and that Mohammed ﷺ is Your Servant and Messenger.
When to recite
In the evening, four times.
