Dua when someone praises you
اللّهُـمَّ لا تُؤَاخِـذْنِي بِمَا يَقُولُـون، وَاغْفِـرْ...
اللّهُـمَّ لا تُؤَاخِـذْنِي بِمَا يَقُولُـون، وَاغْفِـرْ لِي مَا لا يَعْلَمُـون، وَاجْعَلْنِي خَيْراً مِمَّا يَظُنُّون
Allahumma la tu-akhithnee bima yaqooloon, waghfir lee ma la yaAAlamoon, wajAAalnee khayran mimma yathunnoon
Translation
O Allah, do not call me to account for what they say, forgive me for what they do not know about me, and make me better than they think of me.
When to recite
Said silently to oneself when someone praises you publicly.
