اللّهُـمَّ اجْعَلْ في قَلْبي نوراً، وَفي سَمْعي نوراً، وَفي بَصَري نوراً، وَعَنْ يَميني نوراً، وَعَنْ يَساري نوراً، وَفَوْقي نوراً، وَتَحْتي نوراً، وَأَمامي نوراً، وَخَلْفي نوراً، وَاجْعَلْ لي نوراً
Allahummaj-AAal fee qalbee noora, wafee samAAee noora, wafee basaree noora, waAAan yameenee noora, waAAan yasaree noora, wafawqee noora, watahhtee noora, wa-amamee noora, wakhalfee noora, wajAAal lee noora
Translation
O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my hearing, light in my sight, light on my right, light on my left, light above me, light below me, light in front of me, light behind me, and grant me light.
When to recite
Recited in the prostration position during prayer.
