سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ وَصَوَّرَهُ وَشَقَّ...
سَجَدَ وَجْهِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ وَصَوَّرَهُ وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ بِحَوْلِهِ وَقُوَّتِهِ فَتَبَارَكَ اللهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ
Sajada wajhee lil-lathee khalaqahu wasawwarahu washaqqasamAAahu wabasarahu bihawlihi waquwwatih, fatabarakal-lahu ahsanul-khaliqeen
Translation
My face has fallen prostrate before He who created it and fashioned it, and brought forth its faculties of hearing and seeing by His might and power. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators.
When to recite
Recited during Sujood al-Tilawa — the prostration performed upon reciting or hearing a verse of sajdah in the Quran. There are 15 such verses in the Quran.
