Quranic dua — My Lord expand my breast
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي...
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Rabbish-rah lee sadree wayassir lee amree wahlul AAuqdatan min lisanee yafqahu qawlee
Translation
My Lord, expand for me my breast and ease for me my task and untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.
When to recite
Recited when asking for ease, clarity or help in speaking. This was the dua of Musa (AS). From Surah Taha (20:25-28).
