لا إلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلْكُ ولَهُ الحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي ويُمِيتُ، وهُوَ حَيٌّ لا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الخَيرُ، وهُوَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَدِير
La ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamd, yuhyee wayumeet, wahuwa hayyun la yamoot, biyadihil-khayr, wahuwa AAala kulli shayin qadeer
Translation
None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise. He gives life and causes death, whilst He is Himself Living and does not die. In His hand is all good and He is over all things omnipotent.
When to recite
Recited upon entering a market or shopping area. Whoever says this, Allah writes for him one million good deeds.
